Mini Life Debugger: A Free Tool to Debug Your Life 👾

Ever wish your life came with a console log? Something that just told you “Warning: 3 consecutive work blocks detected, energy will drop sharply” before you actually crashed?

Same. So I built it.

Mini Life Debugger is a free little web app for the over-thinkers, the burnt-out, and anyone who’s ever made a pros-and-cons list at 2am and still couldn’t decide. It’s got three modes:

🧠 Decision Mode

Weighing two options (stay at your job vs. quit and travel, pizza vs. salad, the eternal struggles)? Add your factors, set how much each one matters, and let the weighted-sum math pick a winner — heatmap and radar chart included. There’s even a “gut check” that asks what you secretly hoped would win before it shows you the logic, because sometimes the interesting bug isn’t in the code, it’s the mismatch between your spreadsheet and your heart.

🌱 Habit Mode

Type in a habit, your rough success rate, and how many years you’ll stick with it. The tool runs a Monte Carlo simulation — 50 parallel-universe versions of you — and shows the worst case, the likely case, and the “everything went right” case. Turns out consistency compounds like interest. Who knew.

🔋 Battery Mode

Build out your day block by block (focus, social, rest, physical) and watch your social battery drain and recharge in real time, plotted against your natural chronotype (bear, wolf, lion, or dolphin — pick your fighter). It’ll flag when you’re stacking too much focus time back-to-back or ending the day in sleep debt.

Everything runs locally in your browser — nothing you type gets sent anywhere. You can also export a cute little PDF report of your results if you want a keepsake of the time a website told you to stop overworking.

Got a decision you want help debugging? Drop it in the comments — I might steal it for the next scenario pack.

If Battery Mode tells you nothing else, let it tell you when a social battery brownout is coming. That’s the whole tool, honestly.
